Description

In the series New Trees, Voit documents seemingly commonplace "trees" in urban and rural settings. Here, the central tree, overly tall for its surroundings and strangely symmetrical, seems ludicrously out of place. On closer inspection it reveals itself to be not a tree at all but a cleverly disguised cell phone tower, inexplicably camouflaged despite the numerous unaltered manmade structures around it.
